Thermos flask principle with air padding.

Air is a poor conductor of heat and this principle is used by the air padding in the BMW Motorrad AirVantage to prevent the wearer from becoming cold. What is also special about this vest is the fact that you can adjust the temperature to continuously variable levels - just as you feel most comfortable. It is quite simple: you add or remove air from the air chambers in the padding according to your requirements. Furthermore, an insulation inlet in GORE-TEX® laminate with stretch material keeps wind and water away from you. This makes even extreme mountain tours with significant variations in altitude and temperature a real pleasure - without having to get changed.
